Botox® Injections
botox

Botox® Cosmetic injections are used to reduce wrinkles caused by facial expression.

Clients request Botox® Cosmetic to have a more relaxed refreshed appearance. Botox® Cosmetic wrinkle treatment is a quick and minimally invasive procedure consisting of a few tiny injections for relaxing lines and wrinkles.

What is Botox® Cosmetic used to treat?

Common treatment areas include:
- Between brows
- Forehead lines
- Brow lift
- Crow’s feet
- Around the mouth.

No anesthesia is required. Although you may see a marked improvement, a treatment with Botox® Cosmetic does not make you look like you’ve “had work done”.
You can expect to see results within 3 to 10 days after your treatment, and the visible results will last 3 to 4 months.
SilvaMed SPA staff will help you determine which options are best for you. For some clients several dermal fillers and Botox® Cosmetic injections are used at once to obtain the desired effect. Interested in learning more about Botox® Cosmetic? Call SilvaMed SPA today to schedule your appointment.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are a minimally invasive procedure with a significantly low recovery time; it is less expensive than surgery and has minimal risks. Dermal fillers have become a popular way to address the aging process. Sona MedSpa uses several types of dermal filler, all of which are FDA approved.

What do Dermal Fillers Treat?

Dermal fillers treat fine lines, wrinkles, and the loss of collagen that can occur as we age. Many areas that can be enhanced using dermal fillers include the lips, which appear fuller and younger after the procedure. Common problem areas include: brow, mouth, jaw line and cheeks. SilvaMed Centre staff will help you determine which filler is best for you. For some clients, several dermal fillers are used at once to obtain the desired effect. All of our fillers are FDA approved and do not require an allergy test.

Juvederm
juvederm

Juvéderm® Injectable Gel is a smooth consistency gel made of hyaluronic acid (a naturally occurring substance in your skin) that helps to add volume and hydration.

What does a Juvederm® Dermal Filler Treat?

The smooth consistency gel helps to restore instantly your skin’s volume and smooth away facial wrinkles and folds, like your “smile lines” or “parentheses” (nasolabial folds - the creases that run from the bottom of your nose to the corners of your mouth).

Your healthcare professional eases Juvéderm® Injectable Gel under the skin to provide a smooth, natural look and feel, so everyone will notice (but no one will know)! It is made from hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in your skin that helps to hydrate and add volume. Hyaluronic acid may diminish with age, contributing to the formation of wrinkles and folds. Juvéderm® Injectable Gel works to correct this by restoring hyaluronic acid in your skin, helping to smooth wrinkles and folds. Because Juvéderm® Injectable Gel is a simple, nonsurgical treatment, there is minimal recovery or downtime.

There are two formulations of Juvederm®, Juvederm® Ultra andJuvederm® Ultra Plus. The main difference is Juvederm® Ultra Plus is a more robust formula used for deeper wrinkles and lines providing enhanced correction.

How long does Juvederm® last?

Both Juvederm® Ultra and Juvederm® Ultra Plus provide 6 to 12 months correction. SilvaMed Centre staff will help you determine which filler is best for you. For some clients several dermal fillers are used at once to obtain the desired effect.

All of our fillers are FDA approved and do not require an allergy test.

Perlane

Perlane is an excellent choice for obtaining more youthful contours and fullness, filling in facial wrinkles and folds.

What does a Perlane Dermal Filler treat?

A common treatment area is the lines from your nose to the corners of your mouth (nasolabial folds). Perlane gel particles are larger and designed for areas that need more correction. In the human body, natural hyaluronic acid provides volume and fullness to the skin, but it diminishes with age. Perlane is made from hyaluronic acid that has been modified to last longer than the body’s own hyaluronic acid. A patented stabilization technology helps Perlane maintain its cosmetic effect for approximately six to nine months, in a majority of patients. SilvaMed Centre staff will help you determine which filler is best for you. For some clients several dermal fillers are used at once to obtain the desired effect.

All of our fillers are FDA approved and do not require an allergy test.

Restylane
restylane

Restylane aids in obtaining more youthful contours and fullness to facial areas.

What does a Restylane Dermal Filler treat?

It often is used in the nasolabial fold (lines from your nose to the corners of the mouth). Restylane is also commonly used to restore volume to the lips. Like Perlane, Restylane is made from natural hyaluronic acid. In the majority of patients, results lasts approximately six months. SilvaMed Centre staff will help you determine which filler is best for you. For some clients, several dermal fillers are used at once to obtain the desired effect.

All of our fillers are FDA approved and do not require an allergy test.

Radiesse

What does Radiesse Dermal Filler Treat?

Radiesse cosmetic dermal filler can address many facial aesthetic and corrective needs. Because the results are natural looking and longer lasting, many patients turn to Radiesse to achieve a correction that revives, rejuvenates, and freshens their appearance. It often can be used with other skin fillers or with Botox to create impressive nonsurgical facial rejuvenation. The results of a Radiesse treatment are immediate. Radiesse dermal filler typically lasts a year or more, longer than most other skin fillers, saving you time and money. Radiesse is made of unique calcium-based microspheres that are suspended in a natural gel that is injected into the skin through a simple, safe, and minimally invasive procedure. Radiesse® works with your body, below the skin’s surface, to stimulate the production of collagen and encourage tissue regeneration. Radiesse is made of very small, smooth calcium hydroxylapitite (CaHA) microspheres, which are suspended in a water-based gel carrier.

How does Radiesse work?

As Radiesse is injected, the gel and Radiesse Microspheres form a “scaffold,” stimulating collagen production and encouraging tissue growth in and around the injection area. This “partnership” between Radiesse and your own body creates a natural look, comprised of your own tissue and Radiesse Microspheres. Over time, your body absorbs the gel carrier while collagen has started to grow and infiltrate the area, replacing the gel with your own, natural tissue. The Radiesse Microspheres continue to provide the support and structure for your body to grow new tissue and collagen until the Microspheres are safely and naturally absorbed into your body.

How often do I need Radiesse treatments?

Treatment results last up to a year or more for many patients. Individual results may vary, depending on age, skin type, lifestyle, and metabolic rate, so be sure to discuss your expectations with your treatment provider. SilvaMed Centre medically trained staff will help you determine which filler is best for you. For some clients several dermal fillers are used at once to obtain the desired effect.

All of our fillers are FDA approved and do not require an allergy test.

dermaroller

Dermaroller is a minimally invasive, safe and natural way to promote healthier, more beautiful skin.

How does it work?

The Dermaroller stimulates the body’s natural collagen, elastin and blood vessel production in order to produce new and vibrant, healthy skin. Dermaroller uses hundreds of micro-needles to penetrate the skin of your target area. The treatment causes a reaction which triggers your body to “fill” these micro holes with new collagen and elastin. Dermaroller is one of the only cosmetic procedures that assists the body in creating new blood vessels to the skin. These new vessels (capillaries) can then bring essential nutrients, vitamins and growth factors that are involved in the production of newly formed collagen and elastin in the target area.

dermaroller

How quickly will you see results?

You see results within 2-3 days after treatment with continued improvement up to 6-10 weeks after the procedure. Because collagen production occurs naturally, and at the cellular level, your skin can continue to look smoother and firmer for up to one year after the procedure.

What does it treat?
Wrinkles and fine lines
Sun damage
Acne or chicken pox scars
Large pores
Burn scars
Stretch marks
Uneven skin pigmentation
Oily skin
Loose and sagging skin in trouble regions like arms and buttocks

platelet-rich plasma

The Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) consists of concentrated fibrin, stem cells, and platelets resulting in up to a five-fold increase in platelets and bioactive growth factors. Because it is so concentrated, PRP acts as a potent tissue growth stimulant, amplifying the natural process of tissue repair and healing. Studies show that PRP induces the production of new collagen, bone and cartilage cells at the site of the injection, rebuilding the joint cartilage and strengthening injured ligaments and tendons. This new collagen is naturally incorporated directly into your existing cartilage and ligaments, making them thicker and stronger.

What is PRP Therapy?

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)therapy is the name given to a treatment done to stimulate healing which involves injection of one’s own growth factors into injured areas. The treatment helps to regenerate damaged joints, tendons, ligaments, and bone with precisely directed injections. These injections are a part of a new field of Regenerative medicine and sometimes referred to as “Biosurgery”
